Therese Kaley

Managing Director

Therese Kaley established Better Staff in 2008 to meet the growing need for specialist recruitment needs of both IT Consulting organisations and IT Departments. With 18 years of continuous experience predominantly within the Australian IT Market, Therese brings a fantastic reputation, large network and invaluable experience to market.

The recruitment of any role is entirely unique and each role is different. Therese enables each of Better Staff’s clients to truly identify the type of staff and expertise needed for any given role and the best course of action to source the best possible employee.

Therese leads the overall direction and strategy of recruitment process within Better Staff. Adopting old school recruitment practices combined with contemporary behavioural and selection techniques is the key to success in recruiting for Better Staff clients.

Candidate experience is not forgotten with care and dedication in enabling successful career direction and job security for our contractor and candidate base. Therese ensures that all Better Staff employees adopt and practice a full recruitment services and remains hands-on in the recruitment cycle.

Therese attended the University of Sydney where she earned a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology in 1993. She is the mother of two Children and actively promotes Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace.

Sas Nassis

Senior Recruitment Executive

Sas has over 30 years experience in the IT industry with some of our largest and smallest employers here in Australia. He has worked in Banking and Finance, Consulting, Insurance, Small Business, and Government sectors in roles ranging from programming through to program management and CIO roles.

Sas has managed IT teams ranging from a few team members through to a staff of 140, so he understands the recruitment challenges facing today’s IT managers, and is well versed at utilising quality recruiters to assist driving his own career forward.

Sas has a passion not only to strive for the best results for his clients, but also has a keen interest in improving the industry standard around the recruitment process for candidates.

Catherine Macfarlane

Operations Manager

Catherine is a Senior Recruitment Executive with twenty years of operations and business experience. Catherine’s career has included working as an Operations Manager in a variety of high profile companies, and in this capacity, she has led HR, talent strategy and recruitment inside large corporations.

Catherine has led recruitment for well-known organizations in a variety of key industries, and understands the balance and detail required to ensure managing the correct candidate fit.

Catherine has lead large teams across multiple large sites, and well understand the needs of business and importance of ensuring the correct candidates. She has a passion and dedication to understanding both candidates and client requirements, leading to successful projects and long term relationships.
